Flachau will become the Mecca of e-mountain biking. The Enns, the longest inland river in Austria, has its source at the foot of the Kraxenkogel in the top of Flachauwinkl valley. A wide valley floor, lush alpine meadows, forested mountain ridges and rocky peaks define Flachau’s landscape. An environment predestined for sporty e-mountain biking. Finally, there are countless other ways to explore the region thanks to electronic assistance. In addition to a good portion of views and panoramas, there is a lot of alpine romance waiting for you, as well as a good dose of alpine drama – and last but not least, of course, fantastic trails.
Keeping your finger on the pulse, finding out about the latest trends in the e-bike sector and actively trying out the new material right away in front of the gorgeous backdrop between the Dachstein and Tauern mountains – that's the promising concept of the Flachau E-Bike Festival, which will celebrate its premiere. Flachau is the first of three tour stops on the E-Bike World Tour, an international series that will also stop in Tignes - Val d'Isère in France and in the already established E-Bike Festival venue of Verbier in Switzerland.
Explore and enjoy
The guided tours offered during the Flachau E-Bike Festival promise exceptional experiences. Enjoying nature and fine food and wine are the focus of the Gourmet Tour, while there is plenty to explore along the Discovery Tours.
Stroll around and try things out
That’s the motto of the cool Event Village, whose large expo area offers all the latest developments and innovations in e-biking. Around 1,000 e-mountain bikes from all well-known brands will be available for festival visitors to test on different routes and loops offering a variety of challenges. The top-class Elite Race as well as an extensive supporting programme provide additional sporting and exciting entertainment.
